he twelve signs of the Zodiac, each one bearing a central female figure that represents the dominant aspects of the sign, surrounded by a wreath of flowers and leaves in which the symbols of the twelve signs revolve in relationship to one another.

Each sign is equally identified according to the element to which it belongs :
Air - blues and violets
Water - greens and blues
Fire - reds and oranges
Earth - ochres and greens,
by the background color of its gilded symbol, as well as by the hues of the stained-glass behind the figure and at the bottom of the illumination.

Each sign also bears an esoteric verse which expresses its characteristics :

SAGITTARIUS (22 november – 20 december):
“I see the goal... I reach that goal, then I see another.”

CAPRICORN (21 december – 19 january):
“Lost am I in light supernal, yet on that light I turn my back.”
